The Lyriq is currently the sole Cadillac electric vehicle in production. The Lyriq is a luxury SUV that comes in several different trim levels. The Lyriq features a 33-inch LED display screen with navigation, performance data, and more. High-end luxury amenities are also included on the Lyriq, such as heated seats, a 19-speaker sound system, and aluminum accents throughout the cabin. The Cadillac also comes with two-tone leather seats. Its electronic powertrain features up to 300 miles of range and a DC fast-charging port. The Cadillac can be charged at home or on the go at public charging stations across the country.

Even though they are all technically electric vehicles, there are some key differences between electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid cars. Electric cars have an electric motor and a battery. They generate electricity from their motor, which is powered by a battery. Electric vehicles do not have a gasoline-based engine, which means you won't be stopping at traditional fuel stations. Hybrid vehicles use a gasoline engine as their primary energy source, but they have a backup electric motor that provides them with electric power when needed. Plug-in hybrid vehicles get most of their power from a combination of an electric motor and a battery. They can resort to using a gasoline engine if needed.

When fully charged, the Cadillac Lyriq is expected to have a range of about 300 miles.

The time it takes to charge the Lyriq depends on the power source. At home, the Lyriq can use a 240V power charging outlet to charge in two hours. On the road, it has 150 kW DC fast-charge capabilities.

The Lyriq can tow, but Cadillac has not yet released figures for its towing power.
