Automotive Sales Position

Sells/leases new- and used-vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Satisfies the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
Sells/leases and delivers a minimum of 10 units per month.
Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
Provides test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up system.
Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.
Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
Knows and understands equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation to the customer.
Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.
Turns 100 percent of closed deals to finance and insurance manager, along with properly completed paperwork (insurance information, trade title, etc.).
Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.

Automotive Service Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately and efficiently perform quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing. Clearly communicate the labor time and parts needed to repair.
  • Perform work as outlined on the repair order and advise service advisor if additional work is needed after vehicle inspection
  • Document work performed, maintain service records
  • Road test vehicles before and after repair to ensure quality repair work was completed.
  • Keep up to date on factory training-online and instructor led training sessions
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean as well as maintaining an organized and neat shop area.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications, Licenses):

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Factory training preferred
  • Must provide own tools
  • Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to be analytical and multi-task
  • Self-motivated enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Consistent and stable work history
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and work ethic

Body Shop Technician

The Body Technician repairs damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications using hand tools and power tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
  • Position dolly block against surface of dented area and beat opposite surface to remove dents, using hammer.
  • Fill depressions with body filler, using putty knife.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch.
  • Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using wrenches or welding equipment.
  • Straighten bent automobile frames using a pneumatic frame-straightening machine.
  • File, grind and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Refinish repaired surface using paint spray gun and sander.
  • Aim headlights, align wheels and bleed hydraulic brake system.
  • Paint surfaces after performing body repairs.
  • Repair or replace defective mechanical parts.

Detail - Lot Porter

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet and greet service customers
  • Detail customer and in stock vehicles
  • Handle paperwork accurately
  • Move customer and in stock inventory to correct location
  • Communicate with customer and internal co-workers about daily process
  • Keep service drive and area clean and organized
  • Any other task assigned by manager

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Basic detail experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer skills and experience
