Everyone likes the thought of driving home in a new Cadillac. However, knowing that your Cadillac is protected against unexpected mishaps on the road makes buying a new car even better. When you purchase a new Cadillac, it will come with a standard factory warranty covering various parts and systems. Cadillac has comprehensive manufacturer's warranties for all new vehicles, and Husker Cadillac also offers supplemental protection for older Cadillac vehicles that a standard warranty may not cover.
Powertrain Limited Warranty
Cadillac's Powertrain Limited Warranty lasts up to six years or 70,000 miles with no deductible. The warranty is effective when you first buy the car. This warranty covers the replacement cost for components that wear out or are defective due to issues with workmanship or material. The Powertrain Limited Warranty applies to the Cadillac's engine, drive system, and transmission.
Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty
The Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty lasts a maximum of four years or up to 50,000 miles. This warranty covers the cost of replacement parts that need to be changed due to problems with workmanship and materials. The Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty covers replacement costs for all original components. Note, however, that it doesn't include costs associated with routine maintenance. The warranty will automatically transfer with vehicle ownership as long as the warranty is in effect.
24-Month/Unlimited-Mile Limited Parts Warranty
This warranty is the most common for covering parts on new Cadillac vehicles. It covers replacement costs for most GM genuine parts and the associated labor costs for parts installation, provided the parts were originally installed at a GM dealership. Two types of components are covered in this warranty. First are ACDelco GM Original Equipment components, which include rotors, alternators, brakes, and starters. The warranty also covers ACDelco Gold Professional brakes, alternators, starters, and rotors.
Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty
Cadillac's Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty covers replacement parts and their associated labor costs if a GM dealer installs them. The warranty covers include radiators, wheel bearings, hub bearings, shock absorbers, chassis, electronic fuel pumps, ignition wire sets, and struts.
Additional Coverage From Cadillac
Cadillac also offers additional coverage beyond its standard factory warranties. And Husker Cadillac offers service contracts, GAP coverage, lease wear protection, and supplemental protection for older Cadillac vehicles.
