Cadillac Performance Features
In 2024, Cadillac has enhanced the performance features of several models. The CT5-V, a sports sedan, now boasts a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering an impressive 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. This enables the CT5-V to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 156 miles per hour. The sedan also includes performance-oriented enhancements such as Brembo performance brakes in the front, a performance steering wheel, and paddle shifters. Additionally, the CT5-V features a performance traction management system, drive mode selector, and launch control.
The CT5-V Blackwing variant also receives performance updates. Equipped with a supercharged V8 engine, the Blackwing delivers 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. It offers two transmission options: a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. The Blackwing includes Brembo high-performance brakes in the front and rear, an adaptive suspension system, launch control, performance traction management, and a drive mode selector, ensuring a balance of comfort and excitement.
Another sedan, the CT4, now has Brembo V performance brakes in the front and alloy pedals as part of its 2024 upgrade package.
Cadillac Technology Features
Cadillac's 2024 models also feature new technology updates.
The XT4 and LYRIQ receive connectivity enhancements, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The LYRIQ now comes with a dual-level charging cord to improve charging times and a larger 33-inch display with a curved LED screen. Standard wireless phone charging and a fixed-glass roof with an optional power-operated interior shade are also included. This year, the XT4 gets a head-up display with a full-color screen.
Many 2024 models are equipped with Cadillac's Smart System of safety aids, which includes parking assist, emergency braking, and alerts.
